1) Why I Write
Joan Didion writes an amazing piece on Why I Write. Didion says “I Write to make sense of all the pictures in my head.” I think that make sense to me. Probably she can’t express what she sees in another way but writing. In my case, I write because I have to, mostly for school. I wish I could write some more, because I’m always thinking about many different things such as life, my family, people’s religions, cultures, values, etc. I should start writing things down as I think of them but for some reason, it is to hard for me. I can’t really express my self writing, I’m definitely better at talking, expressing my feelings and my thoughts by saying it, but not writing. And writing it’s really important, it’s vital for humanity to communicate, otherwise we wouldn't be able to learn from the past and the things that had happened and the events that gave the shape to the world we live in or the present is passing by. As Joan Didion I would love to write about all of the pictures in my head, cause there are some great things going on there. I have a friend that always tells me about how creative my imagination is and that she likes how I see things and the way I describe objects and events, I wish I can put all that on paper for others to read and have as much fun as I do.
